Japanese Culture

I will introduce Japanese culture. There are too many cultures in Japan. I want to talk to you especially I am interested in. I will introduce you to about Japanese clothes. In Japan, there are too many clothes, for example, Kimono, Yukata, Jinbei, and so on. However, we usually wear skirt, pants; these are said from Western culture. I think the most reason people do not wear kimono is not easy to wear. Many people, who include me, do not know how to wear the kimono in detail so in coming of age day, many people who applicable, they book barbers to wear and make-up before pretty before. These have many species. Colors, shapes, and so on.
　Kimono is traditional clothes and it is famous for represent Japanese. I think it is good clothes for Japanese seasons. There are 4 seasons in Japan and Kimono is so great adaptable for Japanese temperatures. There are so similar clothes in Japan; however I think, these are from Japanese culture and temperatures.

Next winter, I will become grown-up, so wear Kimono on coming of Age Day. It is Japanese culture, too. I am so glad to will wear Kimono because I have never wear Kimono in my life!!

I will talk about movie actor and actress who from New Zealand. Do you know Russell Crow? He is the famous movie star. Everyone heard this name ever, I thought. He is a kiwi and when he was 4years old, their family moved to Australia. And sometimes he appeared TVs. And when he became 14years old, he went to New Zealand Ann entered Auckland Grammar School and drop outed it and became a singer. In 1990, he appeared "The Crossing" at first.And "Gladiator" , he was chosen Academy Award for Best Actor! And next year, he was chosen Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Motion Picture - Drama,too.
If you have an enough time to watch movies, I want to recommend you such movies!

And I recommend some actor and actoress. Watanabe Ken and Sayuri Yoshinaga are Japenese people. they are very popular not only in Japan but also in abrord. Especially, Watanabe Ken
appeard "the Last Samurai" and was chosen Academy Award! He is the famous person about this.

Do you know Takayama festival? It is held on every April 14th and 15th,Octorber 9th and 10th. I lived in Takayama about 16 years so I understand what was happen in this festival. I lived in Takayama city near HIE temple so our elementary school stopped our classes to go to the festival every spring's. It is ver exciting for us! About 2milion people come to this festival because this festival is the one of the three festivals in Japan what are the most beautiful!!

If you are interested in Takayama festival to read this blog, please come and see it next April 14th and 15th!! I like spring festival better than fall one because cherry blossums will bloom.

★☆Roman Holiday☆★


I want to introduce movies to you what I like. In fact, I do not watch movies so much. I like to watch movies but I have no time to watch movies. And I could not watch movies in my summer vacation. So I will introduce popular movie.


I want to introduce “ Roman Holiday” to you! Do you know this movie? This movie is black-and-white film. So some people say that this movie is an illegible movie. But I do not think so. I think this movie is very beautiful and I want to visit Roma because I want to watch Roman’s scenes by myself.


The scene of this movie is on Rome about 60 years ago. Main characters are Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. Do you know them? Audrey played the part of Anne who is the queen of a country. And Gregory played the part of Joe who is a journalist. Anne finally visited Roma in Italia. But she complained about her congested schedule. So she escaped from the castle and then, Joe and Anne met at there. Joe did not know Anne’s identity but he realized of her identity next morning because of watching TV about Anne. He wants to get a scoop about Anne at first but they fell in love gradually. But it did not come true because standing of rank. They went to The Spanish Steps and ate a jelato, went around Rome, and went to the truth of mouth!


It is a very wonderful and beautiful movie so if you have a time, please watch movie at least!!
